Combigrip Ointment
Combrigrip Ointment contains - Menthol – 0.05 g
Camphor – 1 g
Thymol – 0.01 mg
Paracetamol – 500 mg
Methyl Salicylate – 0.05 g
Menthol has local anesthetic and counterirritant qualities and is widely used to relieve minor throat irritation.
Thymol also known as isopropylmethylphenol is a substance of pleasant aromatic odor and strong antiseptic properties.
Camphor is a waxy, white or transparent solid with a strong, aromatic odor. Camphor is readily absorbed through the skin and produces a feeling of cooling similar to that of menthol and acts as slight local anesthetic and antimicrobial substance.
Methyl Salicylate is a wintergreen-scented chemical and is an ingredient in muscle ache creams.
Indications: Combigrip Ointment unblocks the respiratory tracts, used to relieve blocked nose, relieves pain and inflammation in muscles.
Side effects: Headache, nausea, dizziness.
Dosage: Application on the inflected area like throat, muscles or joints 3 times daily.
