Combigrip Dexa contains - Phenylephrine (10 mg),

 

Phenylephrine is a decongestant. It works by constricting (shrinking) blood vessels (veins and arteries).

 

Chlorphenamine: is a first-generation alkylamine antihistamine used in the prevention of the symptoms of allergic conditions such as rhinitis and urticaria.

 

Caffeine is used to treat migraine and other types of recurring, throbbing headaches.

 

Dextromethorphan is an antitussive (cough suppressant). Dextromethorphan has also found other uses in medicine, ranging from pain relief to psychological and neurophysical applications.

 

Paracetamol is used to treat mild to moderate pain (e.g. headaches, cold/flu aches and pains) and to reduce fever.

 

Indications: Combigrip Dexa is effective against cold, fever, pain in throat and muscles, irritating cough and dry throat.

 

Side effects: Drowsiness, rash, dry mouth or throat, restlessness, ringing in the ears, stomach upset, urinary frequency or difficulty

 

Dosage: For adults and children more than 12 years, 1 tablet to be taken 4 times daily.

 

For children 6 - 12 years, half tablet to be taken 4 times daily with an interval of 4 hrs.
